A. Classic Marseille Soap Workshop

Join us for an immersive experience in handmade soap making and discover the natural charm of cold-process soap! In this session, you’ll craft the classic Marseille Soap (Savon de Marseille), a centuries-old recipe that originated in Aleppo, Syria. Known for its gentle, moisturizing, and natural qualities, Marseille Soap is perfect for body care.

This workshop uses a simple yet pure formula featuring olive oil, coconut oil, and sustainably sourced palm oil. It’s beginner-friendly and entirely free from artificial fragrances. Participants will take part in the full process, from mixing and pouring to cutting and curing, while learning the traditional techniques of cold-process soap making.

• Prepare the Recipe: Learn about the characteristics of olive oil, coconut oil, and palm oil and measure the correct ratios.
• Mix the Lye Solution: Safely handle and mix lye with the oils.
• Blend the Soap Batter: Stir the mixture until it reaches the ideal consistency.
• Pour into Molds: Pour the soap batter into molds and let it set.

Workshop Details:

• Batch Size: 1000g, enough to produce 9–10 soap bars.
• Duration: 1.5–2 hours.
• Cutting Method: You may return to the studio 3-30 days after the session to collect your soap. Our instructor will assist with cutting and stamping.
• Curing Time: The soap requires a minimum of 30 days to cure for safe use.  We will store the soap for up to 30 days, and uncollected items after this period will be processed accordingly.
• Class Size: We pride ourselves on maintaining small class sizes (1-4 ppl) to ensure each participant receives personalized attention. If you’re coming solo or as a pair, we’ll try to arrange a private session. While we can’t guarantee it every time, we’ll do our best!

Discover the creative side of soap making by crafting unique designs in our “Story Soap” workshop. Here’s what you’ll experience:

• Design Your Recipe: Learn about the properties of various base oils (e.g., coconut oil, olive oil) and create your custom blend.
• Create Decorative Elements: Select and make small decorative items to embed in your soap.
• Make the Soap Batter: Safely mix lye with oils and stir until it reaches the right consistency.
• Mold and Decorate: Pour the soap batter into molds and add decorative elements.

Workshop Details:

• Batch Size: 1000g, enough to produce 9–10 creative soap bars.
• Duration: 2–2.5 hours.

為什麼冷製皂被認為是最好的手工皂？

這款課程同樣採用冷制皂工藝，不使用高溫，也不添加香精，選用可持續認證的棕櫚油和天然植物色料。除了經典基礎油，還可以搭配天然精油，定制您獨一無二的香皂。
