You may CANCEL the workshop, but it is required to contact us FIVE days (120 hours) before the workshop starts. If a student CANCELS the workshop within FIVE days, NO FEE WILL BE RETURNED.

Students are ALLOWED to RESCHEDULE the workshop once, but it is required to contact us THREE days (72 hours) before the workshop starts. No extra fee will apply. The rescheduled date needs to be within 30 days of your original scheduled date.

If a student is LATE for 15 minutes, some of the working processes might be reduced. For example, the teacher may skip the introduction or you may only be able to make a simple texture/style candle. If there is another student in the class, the class will start on time. If a student is LATE for more than 15 minutes, the teacher will not start the class, NO FEE WILL BE RETURNED.

Class Duration and Overtime Policy

Our classes are designed to last for two hours. To ensure a smooth and flexible experience, we have the following policy regarding class duration:

• Two-Hour Class: The standard duration of each class is two hours.
• 15-Minute Grace Period: If a class exceeds the scheduled time by up to 15 minutes, no additional charges will apply.
• Overtime Charges: If the class goes beyond the 15-minute grace period, an overtime charge of $50 per hour will be applied. The minimum overtime charge is one hour.

Attendance to the workshop is reserved exclusively for registered participants who have made the payment; kindly note that family members and friends are not permitted to attend without prior registration and payment. Thank you for your understanding!

Process Time: Candle takes 2-3 days to process before ship. Some of the products are pre-order, the specific process time will shown on the Website.

Return: Since most of the product on the Website are handmade and only has one in stock, no exchanges are accepted. A product found to be damaged or defective on delivery is eligible for refund in accordance with the below.

(a) To make a request for return, you must, within 5 days of receipt of your Order, send by email to info@anewstudio.com a photo or video clearly showing the damage or defect affecting the product. Certain designated products are not eligible for refund, this will be so stated on the Website.

(b) A New Studio will reply to your email with confirmation of whether the product is eligible for refund. If eligible, a refund will be effected by crediting your account via your original payment method. Such refund can take up to 10 working days to show on your account due to varying processing times between payment providers.

(c) Coupon used at the purchase cannot be refunded or re-issued.

(d) Any opened, used or products damaged by customer will be not eligible for refund.

Local Pickup

A New Studio offers free local pickup (at Vancouver) for Orders upon any purchase of products on the Website.

Never leave a burning candle unattended. 

Never burn a candle for more than 4 hours at a time.

Remove all the tag and decoration such as ribbon before burning the candle.

Never burn candle on or near anything that can catch the fire.

Leave candles out of reach of children and pets.

Trim wick to 5mm or less before lighting. 

Only burn in a suitable container. For votive/pillar candles, put a fire-resistant tray/plate underneath when burning.

Only burn candle on a level, fire resistant surface.

Don't burn dried flowers/plants. 

In these Terms and Conditions, “you”, “your”, “User” shall mean users of the Website (defined below), and “Working Day” shall mean any day other than Saturday, Sunday and public holiday in Canada.

2. Eligibility to A New Studio Online Purchase

All transactions conducted by or with A New Studio are made in Canadian Dollars. If your credit card is not denominated in Canadian Dollars, the final price charged in your currency will be converted at the exchange rate determined by your credit card issuing bank in accordance with the applicable exchange rate on the day your credit card issuing bank processes the transaction.

7. Acceptance of Your Order

Once you have entered your valid personal and payment details and placed your order to purchase (i.e. offer to purchase) item(s) on this Website (“Order”), an email will be sent to the e-mail address you provided to A New Studio confirming the receipt of your Order. Such e-mail does not constitute an acceptance of your Order. You cannot cancel your Order if the shipping email reaches the email address you provide with A New Studio, before which you can still contact A New Studio to arrange for the cancellation of the Order. A New Studio reserves the right to reject your Order for any reason at its sole discretion.

8. Local Pickup

A New Studio offers free local pickup for Orders upon any purchase of products on the Website. A New Studio will not be responsible for any damage or loss caused when Orders are left at the pickup location (door) upon customer's request. A New Studio reserves the right to refuse pickup services.

We do not offer international shipping.

Timescales

When your Order is accepted by A New Studio, A New Studio will provide you with an estimated time for the delivery or dispatch of your Order but without any guarantee.

Some products may be subject to special delivery arrangements or dispatch times. This information will be indicated on the relevant product’s detail page.

The delivery of the Order will be processed by third party carriers and A New Studio does not guarantee the accuracy of the expected date of delivery. Delays are occasionally inevitable due to unforeseen factors or events outside the control of A New Studio, for example, travel or transportation disruption. A New Studio shall not be liable for any delay or failure to deliver your Order within the estimated timescales.

9. Risk of Loss & Passage of Title

Your Order will be delivered and insured by third party courier(s) pursuant to a separate delivery contract. Risk of loss and title the products shall pass to you immediately upon our delivery to or collection by the courier appointed by A New Studio. You agree to accept all potential risks (including losses and damages) of your Order from that time onwards.

10. Refund Policy

Since most of the product on the Website are handmade and only has one in stock, no rexchanges are accepted. Once the Shipping Email is delivered to the email address you provide to A New Studio, the products purchased cannot be cancelled.
